2021

Here they are... the essay competition winners 2021!

In the sixth annual essay competition on Kids World Travel Guide, we received over 200 entries from over 30 countries and students entered with a wide range of home languages - simply awesome!

Congratulations to our fabulous prize-winners! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful essays! And a huge Thank You to ALL who participated this year and again made this competition such a huge success!

2021 was another tough year and the essay theme has brought some light into the darkness and inspired your creativity. A very wide range of topics was covered by our young writers from motivational tips and personal life stories to creative stories and poems. It was amazing to witness how many of you went out of your comfort zones, shared compassionately, motivated each other and learned to spread the wings to fly during these difficult times.

We enjoyed reading, shortlisting and discussing the many outstanding essays until we agreed on the finalists. And finally we can announce the 2021 winners for each category.

Be assured that we value all your entries and efforts, even if your essay entry did not make it into the final round. Again the high number of excellent essays we received was surprising and we decided to honour again many of your essays that we will link from the respective country pages. So keep a look out for your essay or name mentioned on the specific country pages within the next weeks and months.

And now... drumroll, please... here they are:
