Turning Pages
Shaping Tomorrow

Books are my world. If you ask me what makes my world exciting, fun, and full of imagination, I’ll say it’s books. I read books almost every day, sometimes for school, but mostly for fun. Stories take me to faraway places, introduce me to magical characters, and teach me lessons that even grown-ups sometimes forget.

My favorite kinds of books are mystery and adventure. I’ve read many Enid Blyton books—The Famous Five and The Five Find-Outers are my favorite series. I feel like I’m right there solving clues, riding bikes through the countryside, or sneaking out at night to catch a thief. I also like reading funny books like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, which makes me laugh out loud. Books help me understand that life can be silly and serious at the same time.

In my future world, I want every child to have books in their hands. I wish for libraries in every village, reading corners in every school, and books in every home. A world with more readers is a world with more thinkers. People who read learn to listen, imagine, and understand others better. I believe that reading makes the world kinder and smarter.

Last year, I started reviewing books on Instagram (with help from my parents). I write simple reviews in my own words. I tell kids which books I liked, why I liked them, and what I learned. Sometimes I even suggest which age group might enjoy it most. It feels good when others comment that they want to read the book I reviewed. It means I’m helping someone discover a new story.

In my future, I hope to keep doing this, maybe even grow into a real book critic or a children’s author myself. I dream of writing stories that help other kids feel brave, curious, or just plain happy. I also want to encourage children who don’t like reading yet. I’d tell them: “You just haven’t found the right book!” because that’s what happened to me once.

Books have helped me find my voice. They’ve taught me to think big and feel deeply. They are my friends on lonely days and my teachers every day. My world is full of pages, and my future will be built on them.

So if I imagine a perfect world, it’s one where every child reads freely, writes boldly, and dreams endlessly. I want to live in a world where books open minds and reviews open conversations, one story at a time.
