We are delighted that our annual writing competition has inspired so many young students from Australia. The creativity and talent shown by these young writers are truly inspiring!
The participants shared many fascinating stories about national heroes, unique travel experiences and thoughtful reflections. They also wrote uplifting accounts of everyday life.

Why Aoteorea? The students at Hauraki Primary School were especially busy writing essays about their home country, New Zealand, while thinking about the question: What makes my homeland so special?
