This girl has a tremendous, black eye. She has long blackish hair and pale skin. She’s skinny, just like a Korean lady. Who is she?...........
The girl is me, Carys Lee. I am extraordinary, but I was from a blithesome family with sufficient of care and love. Unlike the other kid, I was born with communication disability and slow thinking. Due to this, my parents felt apprehensive. They sent me to the speech therapy center immediately. According to the speech therapist, no medication to treat this illness. I needed to have enough support and love from people who were known, especially parents. Luckily, everything was fine. Some of my actions were just like other normal people.
At home, my mother sacrificed her time to teach me how to communicate and socialize with people. She encouraged me to chat more to her and dad. In the other hand, my father searched for some motivation videos and cheered me up. I loved it and appreciated for their well-intentioned.
In school, I was easily bullied by my classmates as they knew that I had autism. One day, when I was doing my homework, two boys taunt me that I was just like a garbage and useless. I felt indignant but I didn’t bawl at them. Serendipitously, two girls, Malini, and Farhana helped me to stop the bullies. They asked me if I was alright. They reported to the discipline teacher. The discipline teacher came into the classroom and scolded the two boys. The boys apologized me. Now, Malini and Farhana become my best friends.
This case made me know that how prominent positive peers are. Despite special, I never give up. I had a study disability too. Since I was standard 1, my pronunciation and academics got issues. I pronounced some English words wrongly, especially the “r” sound. This made my classmates laughed at me. I also didn’t understand the topics in the textbook and failed to answer them. I couldn’t write the words correctly. Because of this, I felt like I wanted to give up. Later then, my dream friend, Pikachu told me just moved on. After learning and keep practicing, I overcame my challenges and mastered all the learning topics in my school. I even attained the first position. I felt in seventh heaven because practice makes perfect and never say never.
I am a valorous girl. I love giving speech. The moment that made me happy is once, I participated in English public speaking competition. It was now my turn. At first, I have butterflies in my stomach. Later then, I thought back the moment when I practiced in front of my teacher, so I had the confidence to give my speech to the crowds. Because of this, I won the second prize. This made me felt happy because fortune favours the brave.
Nothing is impossible. The word itself says 'I'm possible! It means you can do anything and attain it. When I grow up, I want to become a scientist.
Congratulations on your essay "My Life", Carys. Such a wonderful essay! Thank You! Always remember, everything is possible, just believe in yourself! Keep on writing and practising! Well done!
